Before a game
World Eaters
A melee-only Chaos legion built around one idea: charge, then hit harder than whatever you charged. Sourced from the full World Eaters codex in the shared drive — not the whole codex, just the army-wide rules and the Berzerker Warband detachment, the classic all-in melee build.
What you're walking into
Not the full rules — just what this army feels like to face and to field.
Blessings of Khorne
At the start of each battle round, roll 8D6 and spend the results to activate up to two army-wide buffs (re-rolling Charges, bigger Pile-in/Consolidate moves, sticking around after death on a 4+, Sustained Hits, Lethal Hits, or Devastating Wounds against Infantry). Which two you get is partly luck of the dice — exact thresholds per buff are on the card, worth checking rather than guessing at the table.
Relentless Rage
The Berzerker Warband's detachment rule: every unit that charges gets +1 Attack and +2 Strength on its melee weapons until end of turn. This army wants to be in combat, not shooting from range.
Pact of Blood
You can't take Blood Legions as your Army Faction alongside World Eaters — a list-building restriction, not a battlefield rule, but worth knowing before you plan a list.
Melee-only, no backup plan
There's no ranged-shooting identity here the way other armies have one — the whole army rule and detachment rule reward charging and fighting. A World Eaters list that can't reach combat is a World Eaters list that isn't doing anything.
